FAQ
Can you make a custom charm for me / my team / my company?
Yes, No, Maybe, and it depends! In most cases there is a 100-piece or more minimum for me to create a brand-new design from scratch. If you need just one piece or a few custom charms I recommend searching for a traditional silversmith, they can still make items one at a time by hand.
Can you make (any design) in Sterling Silver?
No, I do not work with Sterling Silver or Karat Gold. I recommend searching for a traditional silversmith or goldsmith. Many of them are willing and able to make single unique pieces from your custom design idea.
I bought (something) from you but didn’t read the description that shows the measurements or see the size comparison photos, and it’s just too big/small for me. Can I exchange it for something else or return it for a refund?
Absolutely! I want you to be happy with your purchase. Just let me know and I will make sure you are taken care of.
Will your charms tarnish / change color / rust / turn my skin colors?
No, Maybe, Sometimes, Never and it depends! If the material is Stainless Steel then no, it will not tarnish, rust or change, you can sleep/swim/shower with it! If the material is plated in silver or goldtone then it depends on the usage and environment. If it’s humid where you live, if other jewelry tarnishes for you quite frequently, then so will mine. You can avoid tarnishing by keeping the item clean and dry. Just wipe it with a dry soft cloth before you put it away. Rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol applied with a soft cloth will remove skin oils, lotions and moisture, and even remove any yellow tarnish.
How big/small is it? What material is it made of?
If you click where it says “Description” on the item page, the full details will be displayed. I always list the full measurements in both inches and millimeters, as well as including photos showing the item as compared to a hand, on a head, or next to a ruler, so you can get a better idea of the size.
What does "antiqued silver zinc alloy" mean?
Antiquing is the process of adding jewelers’ black patina to a 3D shaped metal casting and buffing it off of the accessible areas. The patina remains in the recessed areas, in order to enhance the shadows and create the look of mature or antique sterling.
